Our club focuses on involving less privileged kids in staying healthy and active through fun, low skilled level activities like dynamic games, dance, yoga and other sports such as badminton, in a relaxed setting. We also encourage bonding between the children and club members, to build a better community.

Friday School
Friday School Club members alternate roles in designing and implementing instructional lessons and academic games for elementary schoolchildren. Enthusiastic engagement is a must!
Habitat for Humanity
The club works closely with the national Habitat for Humanity organisation to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope.
Kasih Mandiri Club
We are working with the children from the Kasih Mandiri orphanage to build confidence and skills. We use arts and crafts to teach English and other skills.
Rawamangun Club
Our mission is to develop close links with the children and to lend a helping hand to the Rawamangun Village. This includes flood relief, regular visits and teaching English, science, and conducting fun arts and crafts projects with the children.

To bridge the privileged and the less fortunate community of Jakarta together by understanding their lives better through interaction and debunking stereotypes. XS Project Club
Our mission is to work closely with the Cirendeu (XS) village, which is a kampung situated next to a trash site 20 minutes from school. We meet regularly with the children to teach them English and math, exercise, have fun and get to know the children. We also support literacy by sharing our joy in reading, and by encouraging the children with regular Saturday reading sessions in the XS library.

Amal Mulia Smile Club
Our mission is to spend time with the elderly who meet at the Amal Mulia orphanage on a Saturday. During our visits we do arts and crafts, simple creative projects, make music and share a snack. Some of these elderly people live alone in the community- or are blind- so they love the contact with young people. We visit every second Saturday for about an hour.
DS Kids Club
To improve the social, physical, mental and emotional health of children with Down's Syndrome, and to develop friendships between JIS and Insan Anugerah students
Gerakan Kepedulian Club (GK Club)
"Addressing Poverty in Indonesia by building Communities"
The Gerakan Kepedulian Club in JIS collaborates with the Gerakan Kepedulian organization in Indonesia to help build and improve communities around Jakarta. We are a group of students who are passionate in helping underprivileged families in education, health, productivity, infrastructure and community development. House of Hope
The House of Hope club focuses on enhancing the lives of the kids through interactive and fun activities such as field trips, art and science activities and other planned events. The House of Hope children visit JIS every Tuesday and the HOH club members visit the orphanage once per month on a Sunday.
Puspita Community Project
Puspita Community Project (Puspita) is a service group that works with 13-17 year olds that live and learn in a boarding school in south Bogor called Puspita. The kids generally come from troubled pasts and look to us for that very special Saturday when they can learn english, math, geography, art, PE, etc. Lessons are typically game-oriented and it is because of this that visits are super fun!
Roshan Club
Through entertaining activites, our club serves to teach the English language to asylum seeking children at the Roshan Learning Centre. We visit them once every week and spend one-on-one time engaging with these kids, not only to educate them but to develop valuable connections that'll lead to memorable experiences together.
Unite for Children Foundation
Our mission is to work for a world in which every child has a fair chance in life. We meet local children once a week to participate in a wide range of activities, which includes sports, education and arts and craft, that will help them become more well-rounded people once they grow up.

Emmanuel's Club
Our mission is to work with Yayasan Emmanuel to help local children with basic English skills and to participate in regular fun and educational opportunities with the young people in the Emmanuel Orphanage.
Global Education for Tomorrow (GEFT)
Through student designed and led collaborative work and interactive experiences, Global Education for Tomorrow aims to increase local students' ability and skills in Math and English. We guide students to immerse themselves in the curriculum of both subjects. Both students and student- teachers learn, through mutual cooperation and learning experiences.
Human Rights Activists
Our aim is to educate ourselves and other JIS students about human rights abuses. By sharing the powerful stories of the people we work with, we hope to mobilise JIS students and campaign for change. We stand in defence of activists on the frontline.
Rainbow Club
Our club's purpose is to work with children and teenagers who are HIV positive. We have occasional visits on the weekend to play with the children. We are all the same and we all love to have fun. Our role is one of advocacy and education -to teach JIS students more about HIV.
Smile Train Club
We support the NGO Smile Train by raising more awareness about its mission, visiting patients and planning fundraising activities. All funds received are donated to the Smile Train organization, which funds surgeries for people with cleft lips and palate problems in developing countries all over the world.
Womenesia
Our mission is to empower and encourage independence for women in our local community at XS Cirendeu village. We support the tailoring efforts and jewellery making work of the local women- helping with the designing,marketing, selling of the products and upgrading of the sewing machines.
Good Giving Club Our mission is to collect unwanted, but good quality goods and redistribute them to the less fortunate
